Funny Birthday Cookies
Funny Little Cookies
The birthday cookies come out in all sorts of funny shapes. Bumi is disappointed, but Po helps her see what is lovely about each one.
Story｜Funny Birthday Cookies
Bumi and Po bake birthday cookies, but none looks the way they imagined. Bumi feels sad. Po sniffs the cookies and gives them names: rabbit ears, a little bear, and a hiding puppy. The friends put them on a plate and share their wonderfully imperfect birthday surprise.
A little thought from this episode:Things do not all have to look alike. Treats made with care can bring joy.
Song lyrics｜Funny Little Cookies
Sing along with the original English song and step into Bumi and Po's story.
Verse 1
Five little cookies, warm and sweet,
Birthday wishes, what a treat.
Out they came, not quite the same,
Funny shapes without a name.
Chorus
Funny little cookies, look and see,
Every one is different as can be.
Made with care and love in little things we share.
Verse 2
I felt sad and turned away,
Po smelled cookies there that day.
Rabbit ears and bear-shaped too,
One small pup was hiding from view.
Chorus
Funny little cookies, look and see,
Every one is different as can be.
Made with care and love in little things we share.
Bridge
Po lifts his nose; I start to smile,
We name each shape and laugh awhile.
One little plate for me and you.
Final Chorus
Funny little cookies, look and see,
Every one is different as can be.
Made with care and love in little things we share.
Outro
One for you and one for me,
Happy birthday, perfectly imperfectly.
Lyrics checked against the original English draft and final English subtitles.
Little stories, warm companionship.
Take a little sweetness home.
